Morning Star Ranch provides a good old fashioned Central Texas Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunt. No question this will be a deer hunting experience of a lifetime for yourself or someone special. The Management program has yielded wonderful results, from onsite breeding programs that have generated Trophy Whitetail Bucks over 200 inches for our Gold Medal Trophy Deer Hunt clients.
We believe in an onsite whitetail deer breeding program, as we intricately control our whitetail herd genetics. Some of our trophy breeder bucks go over 300 inches, so you can understand the pride we have in our whitetail deer and the trophy quality you come to harvest. All our Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunts in Central Texas will focus exclusively on trophy bucks ranging from 140 inches to an excess of 200 inches Boone and Crockett.
Our Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunt is an all-inclusive three-day whitetail deer hunting trip in Central Texas. Our trophy deer hunts are 3-days of hunting and 2-nights of lodging in our Hunting Lodge. Hunters arrive at noon the day your trophy deer hunt starts, sight in Rifles, go through a safety check on firearms, then have an evening sit that same day of arrival. The next day, 2 sits, morning, and afternoon, then on your third day your last morning sit with a departure of sometime around noon. This is a typical experience at Morning Star Ranch and is almost always sufficient to harvest a trophy whitetail buck.
We have a specially constructed wheelchair accessible whitetail deer hunting blind available. We provide transportation to and from the hunting blind, transportation to your harvested Trophy Whitetail Deer, and to the location of field dressing. Transportation is provided by an Electric off-road vehicle.
When we have groups of three deer hunters or more and someone is waiting for others to harvest their trophy bucks, you can simply rest at the Hunting Lodge or possibly sit with one of your buddies. If time permits, we may allow you to hunt Turkey or Wild Hog depending on the season and temperatures. If you like sporting clays we certainly can do a little shooting between deer hunts with our 3 sporting clay areas.
Your evening meal will be prepared by our very own Cowboy Chefs and served around the campfire. Do not forget to let us know your favorite beverages, so we can have plenty on hand. Typically, we have continental breakfast in the morning with hot coffee or juice, a Texas restaurant style breakfast after your morning deer hunt around 10:30, and then a big dinner in the evening, a campfire, and drinks to round out they day.

Gold Medal Trophy Deer Hunt Packages are all-inclusive with onsite private lodging in one of our premium Texas Hunting Lodges. These trophy deer hunts are stunning and target only trophy whitetail bucks above 200 inches. We only offer a select number of these whitetail deer hunts each year (less than 6 per year) targeting our largest whitetail bucks. Our largest trophy whitetail buck taken to date was a 257-inch Boone and Crocket.
